About Me...

I started writing songs in my 20's, and finally decided a few years ago to share my music through captivating melodies and heartfelt lyrics. My music reflects emotions and experiences, trying to create a deep connection with listeners. Every song is different because who wants to listen to the same thing over and over again, really?
You're bound to find some songs in styles you like, and some you don't. That's life. Hopefully, you will find at least a couple songs you love! Let me know if you do. It'll be worth all the hours and love I put into it knowing a song touched you.

Music Genres
Pop, Country, Rock
My pop, country, and rock tracks are energetic and full of meaning. A lot of time goes into the lyrics, and there's a back story to every song I'd be happy to share with you in my blog.
Blues, Jazz, Instrumentals
Sometimes blues are jazz, sometimes jazz is blue, sometimes it's instrumental, so you'll find a mix of all these in my song list. Enjoy!
Vocal, Singer-songwriter
I love writing music, and I know I'm no vocal virtuoso. But I am passionate about music, and I hope that comes across in my songs.

It typically takes one to two months to create a song from inception to release. I handle everything from writing the lyrics to producing the instrumentals and background vocals—truly the whole gamut. Every hour spent in my studio is a joy, and I’m in my happy place when I'm creating music. This passion fuels my creativity and drives me to share my art with the world. And yeah, I sit in front of a heater because it's freaking cold in my basement!
Questions Everyone Asks...
How do you come up with so many different ideas for songs?
"She's Gone" came to me while I was showering. Seriously! "Easy To Love" woke me at 4:30 am, and I had to run to my studio in the dark to start working on it so I wouldn't forget it. The entire storyline and lyrics for "Ballad of Regina" I wrote in one evening, flowing from my pen to paper almost without any edits. I was bullied in middle school (so who wasn't?) and "Words" is my way of saying let's watch what we say to people. "Halloween Song" was one I wrote for a stage musical that never went live. I originally wrote "A Man Who Has A Name" as a Johnny Cash style, but burned it to the ground and rewrote it as a hard rock song 80's style because the content is hard. I let each song dictate what kind of style it needs to be in. I never want to get pegged when people ask, "What kind of music do you write?"
Do you design all the track covers?
Yep. For me, it's as much fun designing a cover that fits the song. I love the creativity of it as much as writing and producing music. Art is art is art.
What's next?
Oh, man. I'd love to see some of my songs on a TV show, or commercial, or movie. I'd like to write a couple of theatre productions. I plan on doing this until I can't. I'm living the dream, which is why I released "The Impossible Dream." I'm lucky to finally be doing what I love, even if I don't get paid to do it (but hey, feel free to buy a song or two on Bandcamp. I won't argue!)
